Is there a cost to register with Cheshire Teaching Agency?
No. We don’t charge for registrations. The only thing that you will need to pay for is your DBS.
Will I need a new DBS certificate?
You will only need to get a new DBS if you don’t have a DBS which is on the DBS Update Service.
You will need to subscribe to the DBS Update Service by using the following link www.gov.uk/dbs-update-service
What if I can only work 1 or 2 days a week?
That is not a problem. All we ask is that you keep us up to date with your availability each week by emailing info@cheshireteachingagency.co.uk
Do I need to be able to drive?
No but it is in your interest to be able to commute to schools which are further away as this will generate more work opportunities.
How do I register with Cheshire Teaching Agency?
You can fill out the contact form on our home page and we will call you or you can give us a call on 01270 630080 and speak to one of our experienced education consultants or alternatively complete the registration form by clicking on candidates and then selecting Register with us.
How much will I be paid?
The pay rate is dependent on each school, each assignment, your level of experience and location of the assignment. Your pay rate will be agreed in your registration interview.
Do you offer permanent work as well as temporary?
Yes. We recruit for both temporary and permanent positions in schools across the county.
How much work will I expect to receive?
There is lots of work available across Cheshire. The more flexible you are in terms of travel and availability, the more work you should receive.
How do I get paid and how often?
You are paid weekly (a week in arrears) If you submit your timesheet on time, you will be paid on a Friday direct into your bank account. Our payroll is operated through People Pay.
